It’s been a good week for former Maryland basketball players in the NBA G League. Just hours apart on Monday night, Melo Trimble put up 20 points, six assists and four rebounds for the Iowa Wolves, while Diamond Stone exploded for 30 points and 12 rebounds for the Salt Lake City Stars.

Stone’s 30 points are the most he’s scored in any game this season, topping the 25 he put up against the Delaware 87ers while he was still with the Windy City Bulls. His 12 rebounds and 14 made free throws (on 14 attempts) were also season-highs.
