Five-star point guard Destiny Slocum commits to Maryland, adding to Terps women's top class

Five-star recruit Destiny Slocum, a top-five player overall in the Class of 2016, orally committed to the Maryland women's basketball team Saturday, giving the Terps their third top-25 prospect and point guard of the future.

Slocum, the No. 2 point guard recruit and No. 4 overall recruit in espnW's class rankings, pledged to Washington before her junior season and decommitted in April. She averaged 25.
