Defensive end Dion Goldbourne has committed to play his college football at Maryland, his high school team announced on Twitter Monday night.
Goldbourne is unrated on the 247Sports Composite. He is listed at 6'4 and 200 pounds and is a high school teammate of Maryland defensive back commit Antwaine Richardson. The two are seniors at Atlantic in Delray Beach, Fla. Maryland currently has five Floridian commits, with National Signing Day coming on Wednesday.
With three-star defensive tackle Aaron Thompson decommiting from Maryland on Monday, Goldbourne takes on added value as the only defensive line commit in Maryland's 2016 class.
