No. 2-seed Maryland women’s lacrosse missed the Big Ten Tournament championship game last year for the first time since 2015. The Terps return to a familiar sight on Sunday.
Maryland’s 13-10 victory over No. 3-seed Michigan Friday booked it a place in the title game against top-seed Northwestern. While the score line doesn’t accurately reflect it, the Terps were never really in jeopardy of dropping out of the tournament. Maryland didn’t trailed at all in the contest and found itself tied for less than six minutes.
Sunday’s contest starts at 4 p.m. and will air on Big Ten Network.
