We are talking about Western Kentucky’s rankings in Conference USA.
On defense, that is.
Once again, the Hilltoppers are making headlines with a high-flying offense, and they haven’t lost a step with a new quarterback. All the other elements are there: two 1,000-yard receivers, a 1,000-yard rusher and a line that almost has started the same five every game.
Once again, the defense has been overshadowed. It shouldn’t be.
Marshall’s struggling offense certainly knows what it’s up against.
