HUNTINGTON – Out in the West Texas town of El Paso, the Thundering Herd of Marshall and the UTEP Miners put on a shootout the likes of which you might usually see if the NBA was in town.
For the first time in MU Coach Danny D’Antoni’s career, the Herd scored over 100 points and still lost the game as the Miners continued their stranglehold on Marshall at the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas, beating the Herd 112-108.
Marshall drops it second-straight Conference USA game to go to 11-12 overall, 7-3 in league play, while UTEP improves to 12-11, 4-6 in C-USA.
