In an email sent to the Marshall football media at 2:22 p.m. on Friday, Thundering Herd senior safety Tiquan Lang is no longer a member of the team.
Head Coach Doc Holliday was quoted as, “”Marshall senior safety Tiquan Lang has been dismissed due to a violation of team rules and policies.” The note added there would be no further comment on Lang’s dismissal.
Lang was second in tackles on the Thundering Herd in 2015, with 91 total and 40 that were solo. He appeared in 11 games with 1.0 tackle for loss, two interceptions and six passes broken up.
