HUNTINGTON — Marshall University Athletics will collect supplies for victims of the West Virginia flood beginning Monday at 10 a.m. The collection place is the Joan C. Edwards Stadium West Parking Lot, where supplies can be placed in the Herd Equipment truck.
Department staffers, including Marshall football head coach Doc Holliday (a native of Hurricane, W.Va.) and some of his Herd players, will be on hand to collect items like:
- paper towels
- rubber gloves
- bleach
- bottled water
- baby formula
- diapers
- shampoo
- toothpaste
- toothbrushes
- soap
- brooms
- mops
- squeegees and
- batteries.
