Marshall rallied from a two-run deficit to plate the final three runs of the game and earn a 5-4 college baseball victory over Eastern Kentucky at Kennedy Field Tuesday.
Trailing 4-2, the Herd (11-8) scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game, then scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth.
Cory Garrastazu hit a two-run homer in the sixth for Marshall and the Herd scored the winning run when Andrew Zban delivered a two-out RBI hit.
MARSHALL SOFTBALL: Marshall could muster only five hits in a 7-0 home loss to Ohio.
