Former Marshall defensive end Alex Bazzie has signed a reserve/future contract with the Indianapolis Colts.
Bazzie played the previous three seasons with the British Columbia Lions of the Canadian Football League. He had 29 sacks in 50 games, and was named a Western Division All-Star. His 11 sacks last season was fourth in the league.
The Colts are listing the 6-foot-2, 240-pound Bazzie as an outside linebacker. They are looking to bolster their 3-4 blitzing scheme for 2017.
