HUNTINGTON — There are many unknowns in the season opener, as Marshall coach Doc Holliday pointed out Tuesday.
What is known, at least what the first depth chart says, is who will start for the Thundering Herd when it lines up Saturday against Miami (Ohio). Game time is 6:30 p.m. at Joan C. Edwards Stadium, with the game streaming on the Stadium network’s Facebook outlet.
There are a few changes from what the lineup was at the end of the public portion of preseason camp, but they are significant.
Some highlights:
n Willie Johnson is ahead of Hyleck Foster at the “Z” receiver, and Marcel Williams has surged ahead of Nick Mathews in the slot.
