NOV. 5, 2016 – Marshall football fans knew what could be coming, but since 2007 it had not come this early to a end of a Herd season, but that happened on Saturday in Norfolk, Va. at Old Dominion as the Thundering Herd lost its seventh game of the season, 38-17, to drop to 2-7 with three to play out the season. The Herd is now 1-4 in Conference USA games.
