Marshall junior defensive back Corey Tindal said he is going to test the professional waters.
Tindal, a former Conference USA all-freshman team member that earned honorable mention all-C-USA for three straight seasons, announced on his Twitter feed Monday afternoon that he was going to declare for the NFL draft.
He tweeted prior to Saturday’s St. Petersburg Bowl win over Connecticut that the game would be the “last one for me.” He returned to the social media site Monday afternoon to clarify his future plans.
“Just to clear the air... I’m not taking a graduate transfer,” he wrote.
