No scouts called Byron Leftwich too small to play in the NFL. Marshall’s ultimate gunslinger was (and is) a big dude.
In his senior season, he was listed 6-foot-6, 240 pounds, a number that drew snickering among the press corps. He could have reasonably bulked up into an offensive lineman.
If you wanted a good offseason exercise, you could get two people to pick up No. 7 and carry him downfield about 30 yards.

Even if you have nothing to do with Marshall, you might still remember two burly linemen carrying Leftwich down the field between plays.
