The Marshall men’s basketball team’s hot start to the Conference USA schedule has helped senior forward Ryan Taylor add to his trophy case.
Taylor was named Tuesday as C-USA’s men’s basketball player of the week. It is his first such honor and the third for a Thundering Herd player this season after Jon Elmore and Stevie Browning both earned the honor earlier this season. He also was named American Sports Network and College Court Report’s player of the week.
The 6-foot-5 Taylor averaged a double-double in three games last week, recording 25.3 points and 13.3 rebounds per game, all in Herd victories over Florida Atlantic, Old Dominion and Charlotte.
