Marshall's Binot battles for top billing

HUNTINGTON — As Marshall’s spring season reaches the three-quarter pole, the usual adjustments are taking place on the offensive line.

Not necessarily changes in pecking order. It’s more of an injury here, a precautionary holdout there, and some improvisation if necessary.

Thursday’s workout, the 11th of 15 this spring, provided a significant example. Fedrice Binot, who has been the first-string left tackle much of the spring, moved inside to left guard.

That move came after the injury of Cody Collins, who had been manning left guard in place of the out-for-spring Jordan Dowrey. A.J. Addison, who had been backing up Clint Van Horn at right tackle, moved over to left tackle — a place where Sandley Jean-Felix had been working on the second unit.
