HUNTINGTON — Doc Holliday has learned to get more excited about recruits who are eligible and on campus.
It certainly seemed that way Wednesday as the eighth-year Marshall football coach unveiled the names of 19 athletes signing with the Thundering Herd. He kept going back to the number 9 — how many students are already here and busting their hump on mat drills, etc.
“We had eight of them over there working out this morning, so we have a good idea what those guys are all about,” he said. “And I thought we met needs with the rest of those guys.
