HUNTINGTON – The Marshall women’s basketball team broke a three-game losing streak by coming back to beat UAB, 73-65, at the Cam Henderson Center in front of a School Day Out crowd of 1,855 elementary and middle school students in attendance for the game.
Leah Scott had 21 points and 9 rebounds, fellow senior and point guard Norrisha Victrum had seven points, five assists, 2 rebounds, a block and a steal and sophomore forward Chelsey Romero came off the bench to hit 8-of-10 from the field including 1-for-1 from three and scored 19 points with six rebounds.
