HUNTINGTON – Due to the inclement weather making highways and Huntington city streets nearly impassable in the face of nearly a foot of snowfall from Winter Storm Jonas, the Marshall-Old Dominion women’s basketball game has been rescheduled for Sunday afternoon, Marshall Athletics announced.
The game will still be free of charge to anyone who can make it safely into the Cam Henderson Center. Old Dominion, like the Thundering Herd men’s team in Norfolk, Va. for Saturday’s win over ODU, will fly out on Sunday due to the blizzard winds whipping the snow, sleet, freezing and regular rain at speeds up to 50 miles per hour on Friday and Saturday.
