Marshall shuffles football coaching staff; nobody leaving

Marshall rolled out its readjusted football staff Wednesday, and there are quite a few changes.

There are titles and responsibilities shifted, and two assistants added. Nobody is leaving.

Coach Doc Holliday and his staff went through some soul-searching after the Thundering Herd’s uncharacteristic 3-9 campaign of 2016. As far as titles and responsibilities go, here is the new lineup:

n Bill Legg will remain the offensive coordinator, but will move from coaching quarterbacks to tight ends. That was the position he tutored in his first stint at MU in 2001-02 under Bob Pruett.

n Todd Goebbel will now tutor the quarterbacks and add the title of co-offensive coordinator.
