HUNTINGTON — It took nearly 59 minutes for Marshall to finally flick away Florida Atlantic, but it happened Saturday night.
And the Thundering Herd’s season looks a bit brighter.
Keion Davis ran a yard for the go-ahead touchdown with 1:53 left, allowing MU to sneak away with a 27-21 victory over the Owls. A crowd of 22,839 attended at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.
The Herd (2-4, 1-1) trailed 21-16 at the half and narrowly escaped falling to 1-5.
