HUNTINGTON — Hoping to get all his first-game mistakes out of his system, Clint Van Horn knows he is ready to be tested, perhaps like he never has in his long career.
Marshall’s sixth-year right tackle gets his first big assignment this week in Akron’s Jamal Marcus, as the Zips (1-1) battle the Thundering Herd (1-0) at noon Saturday.
CBS Sports Network will televise the game at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.
“I’ll definitely see better guys this year,” said Van Horn, the Beckley native. “[Devonte] Fields, we’ll see [against] Louisville, who’s one of the better defensive ends we’ll see in the entire country, just like 34 [Marcus] is.
