Marshall University Thundering Herds women’s soccer team defeated the Old Dominion Monarchs, 3-2 Thursday night at Hoops Family Field. Marshall improves to (4-8-0) on the season and (2-2-0) in Conference USA play.
The game started off to a fast pace when Old Dominions senior Kyra Ricks sent a rocket into the back of the net just 30 seconds into the game off of an assist from freshmen Ece Turkoglu. The goal sent ODU into an early 1-0 lead over Marshall.
