Former George Washington and South Charleston standout Jon Elmore (33) scored at least 20 points seven different times for Marshall last season, his first with the Thundering Herd.
With Ohio State being Marshall’s marquee opponent in the Global Sports Invitational, the Thundering Herd basketball team has one schedule spot to fill.
The Herd is looking for a home-and-home deal beginning with a game at Cam Henderson Center. It needs one to break up a stretch that includes road games against Akron, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.
The Buckeyes will host the Herd on Nov. 25 at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus as part of the Global event, which does not feature a tournament format, but does give each team four games.
