HUNTINGTON — Ryan Taylor’s 100th game at Marshall was memorable, but for all the wrong reasons. He played only nine minutes, did not score, had only two rebounds and drew not five but six fouls, including back-to-back technical fouls that Coach Danny D’Antoni suspended his senior for the 41-point loss last Friday at Ohio State.
Let’s just say Taylor probably will remember the 101st game in his career, leading the Herd with his first double-double this year, and 29th overall, of 17 points and 11 rebounds, also adding three blocks and three assists to get Marshall’s first win in the 102nd game in the series for Ohio-Marshall at the Cam Henderson Center by the score of 98-88.
