There was a moment last winter when it hit Marshall coach Dan D’Antoni: You’re not riding NBA charter jets anymore.
“When I got in the middle [seat of the] aisle, and I realized they didn’t get me to a damn aisle,” he joked. “I don’t mind flying, but I’ve got to have an aisle. I can’t do the middle for long rides anymore.
“I told [the booking agent] if it’s less than $150 [extra], bump my a— up to first class.”
He may have sat in a few wider seats, but he didn’t much like the view of the Thundering Herd’s nine Conference USA road games.
