Marshall football notebook: Michael Clark's TDs 5 years in making

HUNTINGTON — After five years away from playing in a football game that counts, the passes came Michael Clark’s way.

The 6-foot-7 Clark knew what to do, catching two touchdown passes as if he’s been doing it all his life.

Clark caught two touchdown passes from fellow Tampa, Florida, native Chase Litton in Marshall’s 62-0 victory Saturday night over Morgan State. Starting at the “Z” receiver position on the right side, Clark scored on throws of 21 and 35 yards.

By the end of the third quarter, he showed fans at Joan C. Edwards Stadium what a threat he can be.
