HUNTINGTON — The shortest, perhaps most effective message Marshall players have for their fans comes from quarterback Chase Litton.
“The sun will rise in the morning.”
That, in so many words, was the sentiment Monday as the Thundering Herd sharpened its focus on facing third-ranked Louisville. The contest against the highest-ranked visitor since 2007 kicks off at 8 p.m. Saturday at Joan C. Edwards Stadium, with CBS Sports Network televising.
It was tough to see that sunrise Sunday morning, though, and it’s not just because it rained at the time.
