BOCA RATON, Fla. — Ryan Taylor scored a career-high 31 points and pulled down 13 rebounds Monday night as Marshall cruised to an 89-72 victory over Florida Atlantic.
The Thundering Herd (9-6, 2-0) swept the two road games against Conference USA’s south Florida schools, winning both in convincing manner.
Taylor turned in one of his most convincing performances, going 13 of 20 from the floor and hitting a 3-pointer in two attempts. He did hit just 4 of 10 from the free-throw line, part of MU’s uncharacteristic 9 of 20.
It was Taylor’s fourth double-double of the season and 31st of his career.
