HUNTINGTON — Marshall’s defense is quite a bit younger than it was last year, so a number of players have to step up their games.
It will happen. When Marshall opened its 2015 season, nobody saw Ryan Bee emerging and starting eight games. Armonze Daniel started the first five, and it wasn’t a bad bet that Blake Keller would have started a few.
Not that Keller was cheated on snaps. He made 39 tackles, 5.5 for loss, with a half-sack and a forced fumble.
But the junior from Bradenton, Florida wants to make more of an impact.
