The Thundering Herd of Marshall had a tough task in taking on 5-0 Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio on Friday night. It became “Mission: Impossible” for Marshall when senior point forward Ryan Taylor was suspended by Coach Danny D’Antoni for drawing two technicals in the Jackson State game and being ejected from the Cam Henderson Center after nine minutes with no points and two rebounds in his 100th game with the Herd.
At the Value City Arena at Schottenstein Center, Ohio State shot 55% from the field and out-rebounded the Herd 61-to-32 on the way to an 111-70 win over Marshall.
