HUNTINGTON — James Kelly continued his dominance, scoring 33 points and pulling down 15 rebounds as Marshall ran by Florida International 99-81 Saturday night at Cam Henderson Center.
Jon Elmore hit six 3-point goals for a career-high 25 as the Herd (7-9 overall) improved to 3-0 in Conference USA play. After its second straight wire-to-wire win, the Herd trailed in those three games a combined 3 minutes, 23 seconds.
Ryan Taylor had 15 points, seven rebounds and eight assists for the Herd. Daviyon Draper led FIU (8-8, 2-1) with 25 points, with Donte McGill 20 and Adrian 16.
