HUNTINGTON – Marshall baseball head coach Jeff Waggoner has announced the Thundering Herd’s 2017 schedule. The slate is highlighted by five teams that made NCAA Regional appearances a year ago, and midweek games against schools from the Atlantic Coast Conference, Southeastern Conference and the Big 12 Conference.
“Marshall baseball will play one of the toughest schedules in program history,” coach Waggoner said. “Playing in Conference USA, our players get to compete against some of the best programs in the country. Prior to and during our conference schedule, we will face five teams that made it to the 2016 NCAA Tournament, including Georgia Tech, Western Carolina, Southern Miss, Louisiana Tech and Florida Atlantic.
