HUNTINGTON — The Thundering Herd of Marshall got a career-high 40 points and 13 rebounds from senior forward James Kelly and knocks off the Wyoming Cowboys, 90-82, in the semifinals of the Global Sports Classic in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Cox Pavilion on the campus of UNLV.
Marshall will meet the Antelopes of Grand Canyon University, a member of the Western Athletic Conference, in the championship game on Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. (ET). Grand Canyon knocked off Houston of the American Athletic Conference in today’s early semifinal game, 78-69, to move to 10-2 this season.
