LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Marshall’s Tyler Ratliff was been named the Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week by Collegiate Baseball on Monday. The Alexandria, Va., native also has been named Conference USA Co-Hitter of the Week, and shares the honor with C.J. Chatham of Florida Atlantic. Ratliff and teammate Tommy Lane also were named C-USA College Sports Madness Co-Hitters of the Week.
Ratliff was one of five positional players named to Collegiate Baseball’s Player of the Week list for the week ending May 1, including Daniel Johnson (New Mexico State), Joe DeRoche-Duffin (Connecticut), Chris Thibideau (North Florida) and Hagen Owenby (East Tennessee State).
