GREENSBORO, N.C. — Marshall baseball featured two players on the All-Mideast Region Teams by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), as second baseman Aaron Bossi was named to the First team and third baseman Tyler Ratliff was selected to the Second Team.
Nine in all from Conference USA were selected by regions.
Bossi, a St. Louis native, had the best season of his four-year career with the Thundering Herd. The senior had a .333 batting average with a team-high 75 hits and 45 RBIs. Bossi registered 14 doubles, one triple and six home runs. His one triple on the year came at the right time, as he is believed to have the first cycle in Marshall history against Louisiana Tech on April 3.
