SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The Marshall women’s basketball team made eight of its 11-pointers to get the come-from-behind 88-81 win at UTSA Thursday evening in the Convocation Center. MU leads the all-time series 3-1 and get a win after losing four of its last five games, including losing its first three C-USA road games.
The Thundering Herd improved to 12-7 and 4-4 in Conference USA, while the Roadrunners dropped to 9-9 but still ahead of the Herd with a 5-2 in the league. Marshall’s Thundering Herd gets the sweep of the night with the Roadrunners as the men also win in Huntington, 92-71.
