EDINBURG, Texas – The Marshall women’s basketball team suffered its first loss of the season Saturday evening to the Prairie View A&M Panthers, 78-68. It was the Herd’s final game of the Feast on the Border Classic hosted by the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley, where the Herd went 1-1 with a win over Sam Houston State on Friday night and UTRGV (4-2) won its tournament with a win last night over Prairie View A&M and a win on Saturday over 0-6 Sam Houston St., 78-50.
