HUNTINGTON — On a day where Marshall honored many seniors, it was especially bittersweet for the Herd’s two senior players Norrisha Victrum and Leah Scott. While they still have to road games to play, a Conference USA Tournament to try to earn a berth in the NCAA and might even get another home game with a WNIT and WBI invitation, it was tough to take a 79-73 loss to Middle Tennessee in their final regular season game in the Cam Henderson Center on Saturday afternoon.
Marshall falls to 17-10, 7-9 in C-USA while Middle Tennessee won for the 10th time in 11 games, now 19-8, 13-3 in C-USA and at least a half game ahead of WKU in second until the Hilltoppers finish their game with UAB Saturday.
