HUNTINGTON – Marshall swimming and diving finished its fall portion of its schedule with a 173-127 win over the Ohio University on Friday night at the Fredrick A. Fitch Natatorium. It was the Thundering Herd’s second win in three years over the Bobcats. The Herd won 11 of the 16 events in the dual meet, including the final four events.
The win by the swimming and diving team of Coach Bill Tramel gave the Marshall program a rare three event sweep of the Bobcats, as men’s basketball won 98-88 on Wednesday, with all five starters ending the game in double figures scoring, and the track and field team swept 11-of-12 events on Thursday to beat Ohio U.
