HUNTINGTON — The Thundering Herd softball team has so much going right for it late, it was only proper the Marshall team should host a team named for … well, not that kind of right … Wright?
On Wednesday afternoon, the Marshall University softball team improved to 29-5 and 9-0 at Dot Hicks Field with a sweep of the Wright State Raiders, winning game one 4-2 and game two 9-1 (5), in a pair of games moved up an hour to avoid the thunder that hit Huntington later in the day in the form of rain, lightning and high winds.
