The Marshall University men’s basketball team started the game on a 10-0 run and never trailed in a dominating 92-71 victory over UTSA Thursday night at the Cam Henderson Center. With the win, the Herd moves to 13-8 on the season, and 6-2 in Conference USA play. The Roadrunners fall to 9-11, and 4-3 in C-USA play.
Senior guard Austin Loop led Marshall scorers with 18 points. He hit six three-pointers Thursday night, and is now only one three-pointer shy of tying the school record of 251 made three-pointers set by Tamar Slay from 1998-2002. He was six of 12 from beyond the arc against UTSA.
