HUNTINGTON — Marshall opened the game with Old Dominion during the first eight minutes by missing 10 shots, including its first three 3-pointers, turning the ball over five times and committing four fouls including two quick fouls on Adjin Penava, a foul on Stevie Browning and an offensive foul on Ryan Taylor as the Herd fell behind 14-0. Browning hit Marshall’s first field goal at the 11:50 mark of the first half and, after that, there was nowhere to go but up for the Thundering Herd basketball team.
