HUNTINGTON — Way back in the spring, and in the early days of August camp, linebacker Frankie Hernandez kept showing up around the ball, making tackles and being generally disruptive.
As a few Marshall players and coaches have described it, he was always “in the frame” on tackles.
But a knee injury wiped Hernandez out of the video for several games, four to be exact. In the games he had played, he had made some plays, but wasn’t always visible.
Not now, not after his performance last weekend in the Thundering Herd’s 24-14 loss at Southern Mississippi.
