HUNTINGTON — The Marshall Thundering Herd is off to another great start in Conference USA, and is all alone in first place after scoring more than 50 points in both halves of a huge 110-93 win over the Charlotte 49ers. Marshall scored 90 against the best defense in the league on Thursday in a 4-point overtime win over ODU — who beat WKU tonight to push the Herd into first all alone at 4-0 in league play.
But against the 49ers, who play at the similar pace as the Thundering Herd, Marshall scored 51 in the first half (tied at 51-51).
