Due to Conference USA’s announcement regarding the postponement of soccer and volleyball competition, all of Marshall University’s fall Olympic sports have been postponed until the spring because of the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Per the NCAA Division I Board of Directors’ decision, all fall sports championships will be played in the spring.
C-USA schools will be able to compete for a conference championship and for a spot in the NCAA Championships.
“We value the opportunity for our schools to compete at the highest level and play for championships,” Conference USA Commissioner Judy MacLeod said. “Moving these sports to the spring maintains those opportunities for our student-athletes, coaches and fans.
