IRVING, Texas – Marshall guard Jon Elmore, a junior (for now) from Charleston, W.Va., and senior forward Ryan Taylor of Indianapolis, Ind., were honored Monday by the Conference USA men’s basketball coaches and media in the league’s postseason awards. Elmore was named First-Team All-Conference USA, while Taylor was named to the Conference USA Third-Team.
“This season, Jon and Ryan have been incredibly important to us,” Herd Head Coach Dan D’Antoni said. “Jon is the league’s top scorer and leads the league in assists for a reason, while Ryan has been our leader the entire season and has impacted the program and team in so many ways.
