HUNTINGTON — Your job, all ye Marshall fans, is to embrace your basketball team.
This team is beginning to click, at least at Cam Henderson Center. In that goofy-looking building on Third Avenue, the Thundering Herd has won four in a row and has buffed the floor with the last three opponents. When they do that, they’re a hoot.
The latest job came Sunday, an impressive 94-76 win over Western Kentucky that wasn’t that close. Marshall led by 26 points before the under-12 media timeout of the second half.
The Hilltoppers may not have their two stars from previous season, but they’re not Texas-San Antonio.
