CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Both the Charlotte women’s team, playing at home, and the Charlotte men’s team, playing at Marshall in Huntington, W.Va., scored 93 points in their game. For the men, it wasn’t nearly enough — even as seven players finished in double digits — as the Herd men scored the second most points of the year in a 110-93 win, dropping the 49ers to 7-8, 1-3. But for the women’s team, the 93 they scored tied the most points the team had scored all season and they won for the ninth time in a row, beating Marshall to stay undefeated in Conference USA and in first place as well.
