Bob Baffert's Medina Spirit, Concert Tour pass final prerace drug tests, cleared to run Preakness

Bob Baffert-trained Preakness runners Medina Spirit and Concert Tour passed the second and third rounds of additional prerace testing Friday after an agreement with Maryland racing officials, clearing the way for both horses to run in the Preakness on Saturday.

Medina Spirit is the 9-5 favorite and Concert Tour the 5-2 second choice on the morning line.

"While we acknowledge the challenging circumstances that prompted this further need for transparency, it reflects, above all else, that the principles of integrity, accountability, and safety in our sport are non-negotiable,'' 1/ST Racing CEO Craig Fravel said in a statement after both Baffert horses passed the first round of prerace tests.
